Our work with Schools and Nurseries

HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?
  • Here at Mini wAVe Experience, we provide classes based on prime areas of learning; from Music and Movement to Exploratory Play, to Story and Craft, to Computational Thinking right up to to Yoga and Movement; we fill those gaps, and our advantage is that lessons are designed by someone who is experienced in the Early Years field and is a qualified experienced teacher.

  • We can offer a bespoke package based on your wants and needs for your setting.  Whether it's an introductory workshop; or regular classes, we can literally provide it all!

  • Practitioners have an outstanding rapport with children to bring out imagination, confidence, and creativity, all whilst having fun with friends and learning!

We are proud to work in many childcare settings on a regular basis already!  Here is what they have to say about us.

"The children love what you do!  You have such a great rapport with them."  - Jo Ward , Owner of New Foundations and Next Generation Day nurseries.

"We love working with you and the children even more!  There is something for every child to do.  Thank you for all the fun!  " - New Foundations and Next Generation Day nurseries.

"Thank you Gemma for these amazing sessions".  - Little Wings Big Dreams

"The children love the Mini wAVe sessions!" - The Croft, Bexleyheath and Belvedere.

Story, make and shake!

Suitable from 3 months up to Year 2.

We start with a story, followed by a led craft and then some musical activities!  This can work weekly, or as a one off workshop to introduce a new topic, theme or story.

Nature Play

Suitable from age 1-11 years.  These sessions are about exploring our outside world.  From learning about gardens, to plants, animals and insects, to creating garden reefs, bird feeders and bug hotels, this class has something for everyone!  The lesson depends on the age of the children and whether its a one off workshop or a weekly session.  These are great for extensions to Science lessons, Art and DT!

Computational Thinking

Suitable from age 3-5 years.

Planned around the EYFS curriculum, this program focusses on building key skills such as problem solving, sequencing, pattern recognition and cause-and-effect - all through hands-on, screen-free activities like programming a teddy using arrows, using Bee-Bots to go on an adventure, and sensory sequencing games from tuff trays to beads!  These skills are highly desirable with the childcare framework and ofsted.

Yoga and Movement

Suitable for the baby room right up to pre school, this is a wonderful class to support physical and mental well-being for both your children in the setting and staff.  We start with our welcome song and then breathing, followed by action (yoga movement and stretches - some for adults and some for babies/children), mixed in with some sensory and singing, followed our wind down, relax time.
